Super Eagles winger Victor Moses was on score-sheet as his Chelsea side defeated English League One club Bristol Rovers 3-2 to seal a place in the next round of the English Football League (EFL) Cup.

Victor Moses scored in the 31st minute to put his side 2-0 up after new Chelsea recruit Mi‎chy Batshuayi had earlier given Antonio Conte’s side the lead two minutes earlier. By virtue of the win Chelsea join other big guns such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hospur in the hat for the third round draws for the competition.

Elsewhere in another game of the EFL, Odion Ighalo’s scored for Watford, but the goal was not good enough as they crashed 2-1 to  Gillingham at the Vicarage Road on Tuesday.
