The coach signed a contract that will keep him tied with the Catalan club until June 2019. Espanyol are delighted to have him as their boss and expressed it in the club's official statement, "Therefore, the RCD Espanyol is proud to join a successful and renowned coach to lead the first team in this new project," it read.
